UAE minister to Reuters: UAE, US to see more AI partnerships

The United Arab Emirates and the United States are strategic partners, and there will be more joint investments in artificial intelligence between them, the UAE's state minister for AI Omar Sultan Al Olama told Reuters on Tuesday.

The minister, when asked about small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs) as part of the energy mix to power data centers, said the UAE has spoken about them with relevant parties but has no concrete plans at the given moment for their development.
