Israeli Broadcasting Authority: Security concerns over Al-Aqsa status, Netanyahu pushes for expanded Lebanon operations

On Sunday, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the security establishment has warned that any changes to the status quo at Al-Aqsa Mosque could lead to an increase in attacks by Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah.

Additionally, it was reported that close associates of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have indicated he may replace Defense Minister Yoav Gallant if Gallant opposes the expansion of military operations in Lebanon.

The Broadcasting Authority also noted that Netanyahu is actively pushing for an expansion of military operations in Lebanon, supported by the chief of the Northern Command.
