Israeli army spokesperson claims it is prepared for ground operations amid escalating conflict

An Israeli army spokesperson claimed that Hezbollah had developed a plan to infiltrate Israeli communities with the intent to ''kill and abduct'' Israelis.

In a response to a question regarding potential ground operations, the spokesperson added, "We have a wide range of tools and are prepared to use them."

The spokesperson declined to comment on whether American-made Mark 84 heavy bombs were used in the strike against Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
