Israel's Qiryat Shemona municipality: Evacuations to continue until end of December

The municipality of Qiryat Shemona, in northern Israel, announced that the evacuation of Israelis will extend at least until the end of December.

Northern Israeli towns, which have been impacted by ongoing rocket fire and military operations along the Lebanese border, will remain largely evacuated.

This comes after the Israeli army declared the start of a ground invasion in South Lebanon while also conducting a series of attacks on various towns and villages in Lebanon.
