Netanyahu says Hezbollah was planning to 'invade' Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that Israel had uncovered a Hezbollah plan to attack through underground tunnels, using four-wheel-drive vehicles and missiles.

In an interview with French media outlets CNews and Europe 1, Netanyahu explained that if the plan had succeeded, it would have caused more damage than the unprecedented attack launched by Hamas on southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
