Israeli forces target Hezbollah weapons depots in Syria’s Al Qusayr region: Israel's army claims

The Israeli army claimed on Tuesday that its forces conducted strikes on Hezbollah weapons depots in Syria.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee, in a post on X, said: "Israeli Air Force jets, directed by Military Intelligence, targeted weapons depots used by Hezbollah’s arming unit in the Al Qusayr region of Syria."

"Hezbollah’s arming unit is responsible for storing combat equipment in Lebanon and has recently expanded its activities into Syria, specifically in the Al Qusayr area near the Syrian-Lebanese border," Adraee noted.
