Israel's army claims armed attack on UN post in Syria's Hader area

The Israeli army reported Saturday that an attack "was carried out by armed individuals at a U.N. post in the Hader area in Syria" a short while ago.

Israel's military, in a post on X, said that it "is currently assisting the U.N. forces in repelling the attack."

It noted that the army "is deployed with reinforced forces in the Golan Heights area and will continue to operate in order to protect the State of Israel and its citizens."
