UN Special Envoy Pedersen says Syria must maintain law and order

Speaking in Doha, U.N. Special Envoy for Syria Geir Otto Pedersen said Sunday that all armed actors in Syria must maintain law and order and preserve public institutions.

This includes listed terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in Syria's transition presents a challenge, he added, which remains a work in progress.

He also stated he had no information on the location of Assad.
