US military says it carried out airstrikes against ISIS in Syria

U.S. Central Command announced that its forces conducted dozens of airstrikes on ISIS targets in central Syria on Sunday.

In a statement, Central Command said the strikes aimed to ensure that the group does not exploit the current situation in Syria.
