Syrian leader Ahmad Al Sharaa calls for development and rebuilding effort in BBC interview

The General Commander of the New Syrian Administration, Ahmad Al Sharaa, said in an interview with BBC that Syria is exhausted from years of war and emphasized the need for development and strengthening the nation. 

Al Sharaa assured that there are no hostile plans within Syria at all.  He confirmed that he has severed ties with all external organizations and entities.  

He also revealed that upon returning to Syria after being released from prison, he focused entirely on internal Syrian affairs. Al Sharaa noted that his primary objective is safeguarding and upholding Syria's supreme national interests.
