REPORT: Dispute flares up between LF, Marada at LU's Law Faculty in Jal el-Dib

Clashes broke out on Tuesday between students belonging to the Lebanese Forces party and others related to the Marada Movement at the Lebanese University's Faculty of Law and Political Science in Jal el-Dib, prompting the army to intervene to quell the situation.

In the details, LF students were playing partisan anthems on loud speakers, which provoked students belonging to Marada Movement.

The dispute then escalated into a verbal clash, which left Marada student official at the faculty Elie Hashem injured.

Following the incident, a meeting was held at the faculty administration's office in order to settle the dispute.
