Russia demands release of woman in Denmark accused of spying

Moscow has demanded the immediate release of a Russian woman arrested in Denmark on suspicion of spying, a foreign ministry spokeswoman said Wednesday.

The Russian embassy in Copenhagen "demanded from the Danish authorities the immediate release of our fellow countrywoman," spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement a day after Denmark announced the woman's arrest.
