Ukraine says repelled largest Russian drone barrage in months

Kyiv on Wednesday said that Russian forces had launched one cruise missile and 89 Iranian-designed attack drones at Ukraine overnight and that its air defense systems had downed all targets.

"Today Ukrainian air defense withstood and repelled a massive attack by enemy drones," the air force said in a statement, adding that the barrage was the largest in months.
