UK government expresses 'deep concern over rising tensions' in Lebanon

UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Tuesday expressed "deep concern over rising tensions and civilian casualties" in Lebanon, following the explosion of thousands of Hezbollah communication devices.

Lammy repeated his call for British citizens to leave Lebanon, warning that the "situation could deteriorate rapidly" after the deadly attacks attributed to Israel.
