Chinese President calls for enhanced financial and economic cooperation among BRICS nations

Chinese President Xi Jinping urged BRICS member states on Wednesday to enhance financial and economic cooperation, emphasizing the urgent need to reform the international financial architecture.

Speaking at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, Xi called for the de-escalation of the Ukraine crisis and to prevent the conflict from expanding.

He also advocated for a ceasefire in the ongoing conflicts in Lebanon and Gaza.
