Republicans take control of US Senate: Networks

The Republican Party has wrested control of the U.S. Senate from the Democrats, with at least 51 seats in the 100-member upper house of Congress, U.S. networks projected early Wednesday.

Fox News and NBC News made the announcement after Republicans flipped two key seats in Ohio and West Virginia.
