Macron sees 'no quick and easy solution' on Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday he saw no "quick and easy solution" to Russia's war against Ukraine, adding Ukrainians should have "realistic" expectations.

"There will be no quick and easy solution in Ukraine," Macron said in a speech to French ambassadors. At the same time, he warned that Ukrainians needed to have "realistic discussions on territorial issues."
