West Ukraine critical infrastructure hit in 'massive' Russian attack

Ukrainian authorities in the west of the country said Wednesday that critical infrastructure had been hit in a "massive" Russian missile attack after air alerts sounded nationwide.

"Two critical infrastructure facilities in Drogobych and Stryi districts were hit. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there was damage," the governor of the western Lviv region said after the energy minister had described the Russian barrage as "massive."
