Trump administration to set new media access rules at White House

Donald Trump's administration will change the rules deciding which media outlets get access to presidential events, the White House said Tuesday, amid a legal battle with the Associated Press news agency.

"I am proud to announce that we are going to give the power back to the people," Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, adding that White House officials would now decide on access instead of the White House Correspondents Association, a group of media organizations.
