Rubio says Europeans will 'have to be involved' in Ukraine diplomacy

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Wednesday that European allies will need to be involved in any eventual deal on Ukraine, which backed a U.S. proposal for a 30-day truce with Russia.

"I think that they have to be necessarily involved," Rubio told reporters on a refueling stop in Ireland, noting that Russia would seek the removal of European sanctions imposed on it since the start of the war.
