Trump's envoy going to Moscow this week, the White House says

U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff is going to Moscow this week for talks on a Ukraine ceasefire, the White House said Wednesday, after President Donald Trump said negotiators were headed to Russia.

"Mr. Witkoff is traveling to Moscow later this week," Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters, referring to the former property developer who has become a key conduit for talks with Russia.
