Rai launches new Bkerke website

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai launched on Friday a new website for Bkerke - www.bkerkenews.org.lb - in presence of a number of clergies and media figures.

Rai expalined that this website speaks on behalf of the Maronite Patriarchate and Church and it is different from other websites, because "its sole political aim is to convey truth to all people."

Rai said that all the activities carried out by the Church aim at serving the truth, individuals and populations.

"We know that much of media resources and technicalities were ill-used to destroy and confuse youth and families, via indecent programs,” said the Patriarch.

Accordingly, Rai said that the Church must increase its presence and availability through these technicalities so as to address the ethical needs of mankind and lead them to faith.
