President of the Maronite Foundation in the World Neemat Frem, who is running for the Maronite seat in Kesserwan-Jbeil electoral district, stressed Monday that Lebanon is facing a major economic crisis, expressing relief over the statement of President Michel Aoun last week regarding the danger of reaching bankruptcy.
“A sick man must be informed of his sickness and Lebanon needs treatment,” he stated.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Frem said that the parliament plays a role greater than legislation, noting that Lebanon is suffering from a big problem since it does not know who leads it.
Commenting on the waste crisis, Frem addressed the people asking: “Do the people remember the tenders concerning the waste issue?” pointing out that the lack of an integrated project creates issues.
