On the new year eve, Leila Abdellatif launched  a series of predictions for the 2014 year on the local and regional levels:

Lebanon

-Tears and grief among Christians.

-Top artists pass away.

-Lebanese leaders visit Syria again.

-Political figures assassinated.

-Top religious figures pass away.

-Detainees in Syrian prisons released.

-Government will not be formed in 2014.

- Mandate of President Michel Sleiman will be not extended.

-Speaker Nabih Berri must watch over his health.

-Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Jean Kahwagi to gain popularity and to be elected as President.

-Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun will not be elected as President, will lead the Christian leadership.

-Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea will not change his stances pertaining to Syria, will seek national unity.

-National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt must watch over his health and his close ones.

-Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to achieve new victory, to lose close person.

-Explosions to target Western and Southern Bekaa regions.

-Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati may be named as Prime Minister again.

-Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam will not form new government, must watch over his health.

-Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri will not return soon to Lebanon.

-Caretaker Minister Mohammad Safadi quits politics.

-Former Internal Security Forces leader Ashraf Rifi to play a major role in Tripoli.

- Marada Movement leader Sleiman Frangieh to play a major role in the presidency.
