Bou Habib calls Qatari counterpart, stresses importance of communication between Arab and Gulf “brothers”

Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bou Habib phone called on Sunday his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani to thank him for his deployed efforts to contain the escalation and defuse the severity of the current crisis with the Gulf states.

During the phone call, Bou Habib emphasized the importance of "communication and convergence with all Gulf and Arab brothers," as well as Lebanon's eagerness to "take all measures leading to the resolution of this crisis and the restoration of relations to their fraternal nature in the interest of our Arab nation and all our peoples."
