Delegation from Orthodox Gathering meets with MP Aoun

A delegation of the Orthodox Gathering including former governor Nicolas Saba met on Wednesday with the Head of Change and Reform Bloc MP Michel Aoun.

The delegation discussed with Aoun the general situation in the country as well as the electoral law.

In this regard, Saba considered that the Orthodox gathering's electoral proposal ensures the representation of all sects in Lebanon in addition to equal sharing as previously agreed upon in the Taif Agreement.

The delegation stressed on the importance of Christian unity in light of sectarian tension overshadowing the country.
