Minister Salam meets Qatari Deputy PM and Foreign Affairs Minister in Antalya

Minister of Economy Amin Salam met with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on the sidelines of the “Antalya Diplomacy Forum” in Turkey's Antalya.

Talks reportedly featured high over the bilateral relations on all levels, mainly the economic and commercial ones, as well as the regional developments and their implications for the Middle Eastern countries, particularly the Arab states.

The Qatari official assured to Minister Salam Qatar's unwavering support for Lebanon, particularly in light of the country's current dire circumstances.

Salam, for one, expressed gratitude to Qatar for all of its assistance to the Lebanese people.

He also emphasized that Lebanon's economic resurgence relies on the International community, “particularly its Arab brothers who have never been late in lending a helping hand or providing support.”
