Bou Saab to visit Syria next week over sea border demarcation

President Michel Aoun assigned on Saturday Deputy Speaker of Parliament Elias Bou Saab to go to Damascus next week, after contacting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, to discuss the maritime border demarcation with Syria.

Bou Saab will be accompanied by a delegation that includes Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bou Habib, Caretaker Public Works Minister Hamieh, Director General of General Security Major General Abbas Ibrahim, in addition to other officials.

Lebanon will also receive a Cypriot delegation to discuss the file of demarcating the maritime borders between both countries.
