US mediator Amos Hochstein, quoting The National, confirmed on Sunday that the agreement reached in the maritime border demarcation file is an important achievement because it will provide Lebanon and the Lebanese with an investment opportunity that they should take advantage of.

Hochstein also underlined the importance of using energy sources as means of development, progress and improving relations between countries instead of using them as tools of war and conflict, pointing out that the security and stability of countries inevitably leads to their prosperity.
