Israeli army 146th Division launches targeted ground operation in south Lebanon

On Tuesday, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee posted on X that "the 146th Division has begun a targeted ground operation in southern Lebanon." 

"The 146th Division, which includes forces from Brigade 2 and Brigade 205, initiated a focused and limited ground operation in the western sector of southern Lebanon against Hezbollah targets and infrastructure," he claimed.

 "This operation follows a year of defensive activities along the northwestern border," Adraee added.

Adraee noted that "the 146th Division is the first reserve division to engage in combat in southern Lebanon as part of Operation Northern Arrows." 

He stated, "The troops are operating alongside artillery units and additional forces to uncover and destroy enemy infrastructure."
