Lebanese security source says Israel targeted Hezbollah figure in Beirut strikes: AFP

A Lebanese security source told AFP that Israel targeted a Hezbollah official with its central Beirut strikes on Thursday, but it was unclear if he was among the 18 killed.

"The target of the attacks is a Hezbollah figure," the official said, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.
