Austrian Defense Ministry: Eight UNIFIL soldiers injured in rocket attack on Naqoura

The Austrian Defense Ministry reported that eight Austrian soldiers serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) were injured in a rocket attack on Naqoura Tuesday.

However, none of the injuries were serious.

According to the ministry, the source of the attack on UNIFIL soldiers remains unknown.

This comes after Israel attacked several UNIFIL posts and U.N. peacekeepers in southern Lebanese villages over the past weeks.
