Dory Chamoun to LBCI: MP Tamam Salam is the best candidate for premiership

National Liberal Party leader Dory Chamoun described on Friday MP Tamam Salam as a moderate figure that best suits the premiership at current phase.

Chamoun told Nharkom Said via LBCI that Lebanon must be spared the political disputes, suggesting the formation of a new cabinet by technocrat ministers.

Chamoun called on Lebanese factions to respect the constitution and to hold the upcoming parliamentary elections on their due time, even if based on "an imperfect law".
