Israel confirms release of five Lebanese detainees, Israeli media reports

Israel confirmed the release of five Lebanese detainees held by the Israeli military, Israeli media reported on Tuesday, citing the Israeli prime minister's office.

Earlier on Tuesday, Axios reported citing an unnamed U.S. official that Israel and Lebanon had agreed to open negotiations to resolve disputes over the land border between the countries.
