Israel to release five Lebanese detainees as part of border negotiations: Axios

Axios correspondent Barak Ravid reported Tuesday, citing a White House official, that after U.S. mediation, Israel and Lebanon agreed to open negotiations to resolve remaining disputes over the land border.

As part of the understanding, Israel agreed to release five Lebanese detainees, he said.
