Biden says he has 'always condemned political violence'

U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday reiterated his firm opposition to political violence, hours after Donald Trump blamed him and Vice President Kamala Harris for rhetoric the Republican claimed led to an apparent second attempt on his life.

"I've always condemned political violence. I always will," Biden said in Philadelphia, emphasizing that Americans should resolve their differences "peacefully at the ballot box, not at the end of a gun."
