Scholz, Macron agree 'close coordination' after US vote: Berlin

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron spoke by phone about the U.S. election in which Donald Trump has claimed victory, Berlin said early Wednesday.

"It was agreed to coordinate closely with each other on this issue," Scholz's spokesman Steffen Hebestreit told AFP.
