Turkey's Erdogan congratulates his 'friend' Trump

Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated "my friend Donald Trump" on Wednesday after he claimed victory in the U.S. presidential election.

"I hope Turkey-U.S. relations will strengthen, that regional and global crises and wars, especially the Palestinian issue and the Russia-Ukraine war, will come to an end," the Turkish president wrote on X.
