Will subsidies be lifted on dialysis drugs?

Head of the Syndicate of Private hospitals Sleiman Haroun revealed on Thursday that we are heading towards lifting subsidies for dialysis drugs, indicating that this will put patients in a financial crisis.

 

Haroun’s comments on patients with heart diseases were made during an interview with VDL radio station, in which he stressed that there is an issue with the drugs that heart diseases patients need on a long-term basis, as well as a problem with the shortage of cancer drugs, which he considers to be a direct danger to patients.
