Lebanese Army appoints Brigadier General Edgar Lawandos as representative in ceasefire monitoring committee

LBCI has learned that the Lebanese Army has selected Brigadier General Edgar Lawandos, Commander of the South Litani Sector, to represent Lebanon in the monitoring committee tasked with overseeing the implementation of the ceasefire agreement with Israel.  

This decision reflects the critical role of the South Litani Sector in maintaining security and stability in southern Lebanon, an area central to the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
