Spain PM hails Carter's 'defense of democracies, dedication to peace'

On Monday, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez hailed Jimmy Carter's "defense of democracies and his dedication to peace" after the death of the former U.S. president and Nobel Peace laureate at 100.

Carter "was one of the leaders most committed to justice and human rights and will always be remembered for his defense of democracies and his dedication to peace," Sanchez wrote on X.
